Partnerships and Events Associate

We are looking for two Partnerships and Events Associate.

Description of Job:
The role involves partnership, relationship management and networking in addition to event management within the corporate and non-profit industry in Singapore, while fundraising for campaigns and creating awareness primarily in Singapore and the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explore, grow and manage new partnerships in addition to nurturing existing partnerships 
  • Establish and continue corporate engagement and cultivate relationships with partners, sponsors and donors 
  • Drive fundraising events and activities including concept planning, event management, outreach and analysis thereafter 
  • Identify fundraising opportunities for collaboration, networking and to meaningfully engage stakeholders 
  • Business planning, donor management and coordination with various internal departments 
  • Assist with building and matching programs that align with corporate CSR initiatives and organisation’s mission 
  • Assist with cross-functional efforts with the Outreach team with an aim to convey the story and impact to the donors and sponsors 
  • Assist in drafting reports and infographics to ensure proper communication of information to the corporate partners and other stakeholders 

Experience and Core Competencies 

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in Business Management, Journalism, Communications, Marketing and Event Management, Sciences or Social Sciences. Fresh graduates will be considered if they have the right attitude and the willingness to learn. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to articulate information through infographics and reports 
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel/Word skills 
  • Collaborative work style to effectively deliver high quality reports on schedule 
  • Creative and driven imagination and able to think out of the box

Senior Associate – Programme and Outreach

Description of Job:
To take lead and responsibility for spearheading Programme & Outreach and encouraging young girls
to take up STEM in higher education and careers. To also raise awareness and advocacy as per the
organisation’s mandate and to engage members of the community through initiatives, events and
activities related to women’s empowerment and gender equality.

Key Responsibilities:
STEM programme Initiatives
● Assist in conceptualising and overseeing content creation for the STEM programme ensuring
it is up-to-date, relevant and is abreast of developments and trends in the related fields
● Drive strategy & innovative pathways and building efficient processes to provide a more
holistic approach to learning STEM and to engage the students better
● Work closely with a panel of leaders, academicians, researchers and ambassadors in the STEM
fields to align on standards and best practices for creating content
● Support, build, and develop the STEM Programme and Outreach team and be responsible for
the team
● Conceptualise, develop, coordinate and assess feasibility where necessary, for all awareness
and advocacy events and activities, including logistics, implementation, resource allocation
and budget planning
● Consolidate event feedback to assess impact, process efficiencies and optimal use of
● Generate reports with key attributes to assess budget, reach and outcomes. Present the
report findings to the Board as and when necessary
● Recruit, manage and train volunteers where required
● Oversee and support the Youth Team
● Other duties as assigned
● Explore and grow new partnerships to promote and improve outreach and all awareness and
advocacy activities
● Maintain and nurture excellent relationship management with existing partners, schools and
key stakeholders
● Lead/co-lead cross-functional efforts with the Partnerships team with an aim to convey the
story and impact to the donors and sponsors
● Work jointly with the Partnerships team to submit grant applications to corporates,
foundations and other grant givers for the purpose of ensuring adequate budget and
resources to sustain awareness and advocacy initiatives

Communications and CRM
● Maintain and ensure an updated list of all the contacts for partners, schools, sponsors,
vendors and service providers to enable import into the CRM database for ready access when
● Work with the Marketing & Communications team to develop the marketing collaterals for
the events and assist with social media outreach
● Maintain clear channels of communication within the team and the organisation

• Prior non-profit experience and knowledge preferred, but not compulsory
• Individuals with experience in education or pedagogy preferred but not compulsory.

Academic requirement
● A Bachelor Degree in Education, Science or Social Sciences, Business Development or Business
Administration with minimum work experience of 3-4 years.
● Applicants not holding the required qualifications are still encouraged to apply, only if they
have extensive experience in the areas above.
